Prerequisites

Trainee assessors must be at least 19 years old on the first day of the training. Trainee assessors must have access to learners completing vocational qualifications in order to generate the evidence required to complete this qualification.

As the next step for those who have completed the QA Level 3 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF), this qualification provides Learners with a wider scope of practice in Prehospital care emergencies, allowing for greater employment opportunities. It also forms part of a progressive suite of Prehospital care qualifications that lead to the QA Level 6 Diploma in Paramedic Practice (RQF).
The purpose of this course is to improve the performance of trainers delivering short training modules. The programme will be run over five days and will consist of lectures and workshops. A practical exercise plan will form part of one of the lectures. Course members will be expected to give presentations during the course.
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. On this course at Stream Marine training, we provide vital first aid training which is taught in person by our excellent instructors.
