Course Description:
The Marine Evacuation System training (MES) course is designed to provide initial familiarisation or support to existing training onboard following the guidelines of MGN 558.
The MES course structure provides a balance of theory and practical exercises in conjunction with manufacturers guidelines and client’s safety management system procedures.
The following courses can be provided:
- MES Descent Refresher
- MES Initial Training & Familiarisation
- Ship Specific Bespoke Packages
Training Outcome:
Familiarisation in Marine Evacuation encompassing the following elements:
- Lifesaving Equipment
- Release Systems
- Deployment of Survitec Zodiac MES MIS
- Additional Rafts
- Completion of Evacuation
- Means of Rescue (MOR)
- Other Types of System
Course Contents:
The course will include videos, group discussions, trainer-led presentations and practical exercises using our MES and associated equipment.
