The DNV is the world’s leading classification society, certification body, and recognized advisor for the maritime industry.
SMT is recognized by the DNV GL through the award of the International Standards Organisation (ISO) 9001:2015 certification for our Quality Management System.
The Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) is the government body responsible for implementing British and international maritime law and safety. They regulate STCW basic safety training for seafarers.
Since 2015, SMT has offered MCA certified courses, including webinars.
The Merchant Navy Training Board (MNTB) is a voluntary body and a part of the UK Chamber of Shipping, which Stream Marine Training has been a professional member of since 2016.
FAIB approve, monitor and regulate First Aid Training Providers which guarantees consistency of standards across the United Kingdom.
PASMA is the international not-for-profit association for the mobile access tower industry. Representing the interests of manufacturers, suppliers, specifiers and users, it provides and oversees the industry standard training scheme and is a major publisher of safety-related knowledge, information and guidance.
