Theory development and practical experience will be gained over the four-day STCW Medical First Aid course.
This course is suitable for seafarers who are about to serve, or are already serving as either safety representatives or safety officers. This training is intended to meet the requirements set out in The Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Health and Safety at Work) Regulations and the Code of Safe Working Practice for Merchant Seafarers (CoSWP).
The STCW Updating Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats involves both theory development and practical experience, focusing on launching and recovery using single arm davits, search and rescue and casualty recovery at sea. This STCW course forms a vital part of training for those who must lead a fast rescue boat as well as any crew on a Merchant Navy vessel who are part of the FRB crew. FRBU Route 1 course is directed to seafarers with more experience, who have taken part in FRB drills within the last 5 years.
Our accredited and approved technology allows us to simulate in a realistic sense the working of Oil and Chemical cargo operations from the cargo control room, to maintain the cargo quality and quantity, the seaworthiness and stability of the vessel and compliance with MARPOL and SOLAS.
