The STCW Personal Survival Techniques Refresher Training is set up to offer prospective delegates with the necessary training to maintain proficiency as required in the STCW 2010 Manila Amendments. The half a day course is comprised by a blend of theory development and practical experience. Non-swimmers are permitted on this course and will always be supervised by fully qualified instructors.

Seafarers who have a certificate of Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques and have maintained the required standard of competence through onboard training and experience for all competencies listed in the self-declaration form

Provisional delegates are required to provide a signed self-declaration form as prerequisite to attending the PST refresher course.

Photographic ID (A Government issued, photographic proof of identity on the day of the course and this should take the form of either a valid Passport or a driving license or a valid discharge book).
