Description

This Product aims to provide Offshore Lifeboat Coxswains the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, and practice certain elements of their role which they cannot reasonably practise offshore.

To achieve the Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain Further Training (Twin Fall) the learner will need to complete the 1 mandatory unit.

Outcome 2: Preparing to Launch and Launching TEMPSC

Outcome 3: Moving TEMPSC to Safe Area and disembarkation procedures.

 

Prerequisites

Attendance on this programme is open to learners who are in possession of a valid Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) with Emergency Breathing System (EBS) certificate, Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) certificate, TBOSIET (Tropical BOSIET) certificate, Further Offshore Emergency Training (with Emergency Breathing System) certificate, Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET) with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) certificate or TFOET (Tropical FOET) certificate.

And

A valid Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain Initial Training Certificate, of the corresponding fall type for the Further Training to be undertaken
