At Stream Marine Training, we have highly qualified instructors from a range of different occupations who teach Emergency Response courses. Our instructors have previous careers as army medics, Fire and Rescue members, Royal Navy officers and many more. We are very proud to offer such high-quality courses in Emergency Response and offer the best expertise. The first aid courses at Stream Marine training are QA approved, and we also offer bespoke training only available at SMT in specialist areas such as Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET).
The Marine Evacuation System training (MES) course is designed to provide initial familiarisation or support to existing training onboard following the guidelines of MGN 558.
The MES course structure provides a balance of theory and practical exercises in conjunction with manufacturers guidelines and client’s safety management system procedures.

Stream Marine Training offer Entry into Enclosed/Dangerous Spaces training courses from our Glasgow Airport Training campus or on the clients’ premises and can travel to vessels or offshore platforms to carry out the training.
This course is for existing offshore emergency team leaders that are required to revalidate their OPITO OERTL certification by completing training scenarios that they are unable to undertake offshore. The oil and gas industry recognises that a major objective is to prevent incidents occurring, and if they do occur to control them and minimise their effect. It is important therefore to set common standards in emergency response and to ensure that they are maintained.
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with the opportunity to develop their fire safety awareness to help ensure that they are keeping themselves and others safe at all times in the workplace.
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides delegates with the opportunity to advance their knowledge and expertise in basic life support and the management of anaphylaxis. The content of this qualification has been approved by the Anaphylaxis Campaign. This first aid training at Stream Marine Training will allow learners to feel comfortable in an emergency situation in which they must deal with anaphylaxis.
