Stream Marine Training offers courses in environmental safety which is becoming ever more significant with the introduction of many new and alternative fuels. Marine safety is very important and we provide courses on Petrochemical Safety and Compliance, which helps seafarers to understand the risks of marine pollution. Crew and passenger safety is of upmost importance to SMT, and therefore we provide training in crew safety and social responsibility when in both UK and International waters.

STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibility course is set up to offer a basic introduction for prospective seafarers in safety procedures and accident prevention while informing them on the employment conditions and working environments that they can expect of merchant ships, while on the half day course. After sitting a short examination, you will receive the STCW certificate.

2. Photographic ID (A Government issued, photographic proof of identity on the day of the course and this should take the form of either a valid Passport or a driving license or a valid discharge book)
Once completed, successful delegates will be awarded with an MCA approved STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR) certificate after a short examination.
