This new delivery format has been fully approved by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), allowing companies and delegates greater flexibility in how they complete this essential safety training. It also makes it easier for international operators, shore-based personnel, and vessel crews to meet regulatory requirements without the need to travel.
The course is designed to provide the fundamental knowledge required to safely work on or around vessels using low-flashpoint fuels such as methanol, ammonia, and LNG, in line with IGF Code standards.
