STCW Refresher Training for seafarers covering Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (FPFFU), Personal Survival Techniques (PSTU) and Advanced Fire Fighting Update (AFFU), located at Glasgow Airport, as well as Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boat (PSCRB) and Fast Rescue Boat (FRB) located at Greenock. These refresher courses are only suitable for personnel who have been at sea within the last 5 years.

The STCW Proficiency in Crisis Management & Human Behaviour course provides seafarers with an understanding of shipboard emergency procedures, controlled emergency response and the knowledge on how to safely control passengers and personnel during an emergency. This STCW course is a blend of practical experience and theory development in crisis management which is taught over the one-day course.

It is a mandatory course, that must be sat every five years upon completion of your last MCOBU or MCOB course. On completion, students will have been refreshed with sufficient knowledge of medical stores and equipment on board.
