The STCW Proficiency in Medical Care On-board Update course is taught as a blend of practical experience and theory development. It is a mandatory course, that must be sat every five years upon completion of your last MCOBU or MCOB course. On completion, students will have been refreshed with sufficient knowledge of medical stores and equipment on board.

These refresher courses are only suitable for personnel who have been at sea within the last 5 years.
