The STCW Proficiency In Crowd Management course aims to guide seafarers on how to deal with large crowds and passengers during emergency situations. This type of STCW training helps delegates learn how to; lead and direct others, assess the situation and provide an effective response, identify personal and passenger stress levels as well as become aware of the reaction patterns of passengers and other personnel in emergencies. As well as, recognising specific behaviours of passengers and other personnel.

The STCW Proficiency in Crowd Management course is set up to offer crew on board vessels that deal with passengers on a regular basis. This course is taught in line with the STCW Code (2010): Regulation V/2(&3) pa. 4, 5 & 6 and Section A-V/2(&3) pa. 1, 2 & 3.
