MCA Approved Engine Course 2 (AEC2)

The MCA Approved Engine Course 2 (AEC2). is a mandatory five-day course for students enrolled in the new small vessel route to second engineer and is ideal for the owners or operators of small inshore commercial and pleasure vessels. Delivery of the content is split into both classroom activities and practical application. It comprises of approximately 50% theory and 50% practical work.

The STCW Human Element Leadership & Management – Management Level is a theory-based course that is aimed at individuals onboard a vessel in a management position. The aim of this STCW course is to supply masters and officers with the vital knowledge and understanding to safely manage a ship’s personnel and assets. The HELM(M) course is a mandatory certificate to have for candidates wishing to complete a management level Certificate of Competency (CoC).
