The STCW Fire Prevention and Firefighting Update involves a blend of theory development and practical experience, with a focus on using firefighting equipment with the use of breathing apparatus to extinguish various fires of size and intensity, including casualty rescue in smoke filled enclosed spaces.

STCW Medical Care on Board Ship (MCOB)

Theory development and practical experiences will be gained on the STCW Medical Care Onboard Ship course.

STCW Medical Care on Board Ship Update (MCOBU)

The STCW Proficiency in Medical Care On-board Update course is taught as a blend of practical experience and theory development. It is a mandatory course, that must be sat every five years upon completion of your last MCOBU or MCOB course. On completion, students will have been refreshed with sufficient knowledge of medical stores and equipment on board.

The STCW Passenger Safety, Cargo Safety and Hull Integrity Training for RO RO Passenger Ships course focuses safe working procedures on Roll On Roll Off (RO RO) passenger vessels. It covers safe loading and unloading of the vessel, cargo securing, the safe carriage of dangerous goods and how to operate hull openings, such as bow and stern doors and ramps.

STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR)

The STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibility course includes a blend of theory development and practical experience.

STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibility & STCW Security Awareness (PSSR+SA)

These courses provide teaching that will help delegates theory development on STCW Proficiency in Maritime Security Awareness and Personal Safety and Social Responsibility.
